Mandeli Fry is a quick and easy Maharashtrian style fish fry recipe where Mandeli fish pieces are marinated in garlic-coriander paste, coated with flour and then shallow fried in hot oil till crisp.

Ingredients:

1 Cup Coriander Leaves
20-25 Garlic cloves
2 Cups Mandeli Fish
1 Cup Rice Flour
1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
Juice of half lemon
Oil for shallow frying
Water
Salt to taste

Method:

- In a mixer grinder add garlic cloves and coriander leaves. Add little water and grind everything to a smooth paste. Keep this masala paste aside till further use.
- In a bowl add mandeli fish pieces. Then add the masala paste, red chilli powder, lemon juice and salt. Mix everything well.
- Heat oil for shallow frying.
- Dip the fish pieces in rice flour and coat them properly.
- Shallow fry them on the both the sides till they are crisp.
- Crispy Mandeli Fry is ready to be served.
